What would you grade this 1795 FH 50c?
The uneven wear throws me. What would it be graded in today's world? It is in an old green holder btw. I will post the grade tomorrow. Opinions are appreciated also! Update: It's graded G4 -

Nice O-121a - a tough variety. Looks like Liberty has whiskers because of the die clash. I expect it's graded so low because of the weakness on the stars 11-13. Maybe also a planchet flaw at the top of the die break. Very cool coin! -

It's a die crack . It's a O-121a, Y over star variety. Less than 20 known according to what I have read. Thanks for the input and guesses. It's graded G4.

I was thinking net g4. Maybe just the pics, but surfaces seem off a little, esp reverse. I have a very comp coin in same holder gen and G4. I think less details but nicer in general. Sorry no pic handy at the moment -

The devices and rims seem too well defined for G4. There looks to be either adjustments marks or scratches. While adjustments should not hurt the grade at this level, scratches would. So if the TPG graders see them as scratches, it may have resulted in a net grade. -

G4 is the correct grade. Something a variety collector can love ... but not me. -

Looks more like a 06 or 08! Very wholesome, too!!
