Is PCGS's designation "Type 1 圓 銀 Right" for the 1 Yen 1870 the same as the ""Type 1 圓" designation? Since the second one is on the right anyway? If it is different, can you please provide an example? (I understand the "Left" designation). Also there is no Border/no Border designation for the "Right" or "Left" designation,… -

Thank you for providing this useful information. If the ratio of the stamp of Left:Right is 10:1, I wonder why the PCGS population does not reflect this: 28 total (Right) and 17 total (Left). The survival rate seems to be very different for the two varieties, opposite to what one would expect based on mintage (stamping). -
