It's a real shame that the US Mint or Treasury decided to call the 1 oz gold bullion coin the Eagle when traditionally the $10 gold coins minted from 1795 to 1933 were already called the Eagle. It just results in confusion and there is no reason the 1 oz gold bullion coins couldn't have been called the Liberty or something… -

I started in 1986 through 1992 two sets a year starting with the 1 coin 86, then 2 in 87, then 4 each set, but recently sold off all my sets to fund other things.
