I’ve read articles where they discussed this being the reason for a large number of false positives. (I suppose and overly accurate test is better than a less accurate one). But public policy is made on a test positivity rate that may be quite a bit off. The large number of people who test positive who never have any… -

We're drifting in a dangerous direction here... HOWEVER (LOL), it was interesting to watch the athletes last year. A lot of them had positive tests followed by negative tests a couple days later.
