In some instances a numerical grade would probably work fine. In others it would almost certainly create a mess. I keep thinking back to that gold buffalo nickel. If I made the same cut on a common date buffalo nickel or gold piece, would it get a numerical grade? If not, then why? If the gold buffalo had 3 test cuts… -

50 cents was a lot of money when I went into the Air Force in 1970. Stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi, that 50 cents would buy 2 cans of beer at the Airman's Club (I was only 19 so couldn't buy hard liquor. $1.50 was 6 beers and a massive headache the next morning. Fishy 76 Topps Trek

1976 Star Trek #1 PSA $2551 ??? Last one that IMHO looked nicer sold about 8 weeks ago for $375, the one prior in Nov sold for ~$325. 8x that seems very fishy Seller sold a lot of other 1976 Trek many of which were 2-7x FMV.
