Agree that "bullion" can be relatively easier to value. However, do not believe that is it always 'covered' by USPS insurance. As I understand it, the USPS limits their indemnity to $15.00 on "bullion", except for Registered Mail. @jmlanzaf mentioned the "bullion" exception earlier. For reference, here is the applicable… -
