Re: Why so cheap? 1952 Mantle PSA 6 for $9k ???
He is a powerscammer going for a kill. If you look back through his feedback he has in the past sold just enough high ticket items to get and keep the PS rating then sells lots of cheap cards to pad his FB numbers. There is a possibility he has a hijacked account, but I think he is a power scammer who sees his Ebay days… -
Re: Am I seeing thing or is this '58 Mantle not a '58 Mantle
Ebay will never do that. The scammers make ebay way too much money. They leave it between the buyer and the seller to hash out. Unfortunate, but true. All Ebay would say is "We must leave it to the seller and the consumer. We can't go to each individual's home to see if they are representing their product accurately. We do… -
Re: Mean "ex-wife" ebay description - 1991 Topps Desert Shield Set
Haha cool - I've never seen that. PS your post ^ scored: Female Score: 58 Male Score: 127 ///////////// GG is - using an unmodified weighting - only about 40%+ accurate. Throwing out words that GG wrongly thinks are either F/M, the accuracy can be moved deep into the 80% range. ..... Scammers can also use GG to sound… -
Re: What To Do With Fake Cards That Got Past PSA and Were Encapsulated
How do you know they are fakes and not simply a second lower quality printing back then due to short supply? While the picture is obviously less detailed, the rest of the front looks very consistent in quality of print. It's a low value set with insignificant demand so why would a scammer even bother with reprinting them.… -
Re: Take a look at Koufax rookie on the Bay. Hilarious!
The guy left himself an out by including the cert number in the title. He will say that potential buyers could have looked it up. That he has no idea what the qualifier means etc etc Scammer in every sense of the word. I think at least 10 guys here emailed him asking if it was OC. Steve edited to add: I don't think he has… -
Re: Since I've been Gone?
<< <i>I'm not looking for acceptance here. I could honestly careless what anyone decides to opinionate, because outside of this I have a life beyond cardboard pictures. >> Yeah, saying things like that will really motivate people to go out of their way and help you. My suggestion, pay back everyone you ripped off 2-3 times… -
Re: Did anyone see this?? 1955 AA O'Rouke

<< <i>threadlife expectancy? >> If PSA does something like take this thread down, I can't imagine a reason why a sane person would continue to support the company. By bringing this to light, the forum members are helping PSA crack down on the scammers. To pull this thread would be like cops shooting eyewitnesses and… -
Re: How does a dealer or seller "search" a case ?
I bought a sealed case of Exquisite basketball from blowout cards a few years ago, and lost a lot of money on perhaps the worst case of this product ever sold. I always wondered if the case was tampered with, but I remember it being sealed - what I can't remember is if it was UD factory tape or not. I think you always have… -
Re: EBay - ANA Coin Community Workshop Tonight
Is this blaming the victim? One further response posted just recently concludes with: "The more vigilant our Community is, the more likely we'll be successful rooting out the bad guys." Seems the more vigilant I've been, the more I've seen the same scammers sell the same fake or misrepresented junk again and again. It's as… -
Re: SPX Spectrum Carmelo Anthony Jersey/Auto...
Yea....I've seen a few too but I was offered money back if it was proven to be a fake. The other one I saw the same seller had a Carmelo Anthony patch with the exact matching bottom to the jersey (Top half of logoman was on Bosh, bottom on Carmello). There are tons of scammers on Ebay (like those Vick Patch cards) but what…
