I just finished counting the # of 1/1's in my Marino master set. I have: PSA 10 - 31 1/1's PSA 9 - 31 1/1's PSA 8 - 9 1/1's PSA 7 - 1 1/1 Total of 72!! Regards, Greg M. -
Re: Potential value of a 1/1 card
The 1/1 market no longer holds the fascination it once did because there are so many now. Most 1/1 are not even true 1/1's because the exact same card can be found with different numbering. I thought I had a true 1/1 until I found the exact same card could be found numbered to 10, 25 etc. To me that is not a true 1/1. -

Correct. Obviously. If it were aluminum it would be struck on a planchet that was thicker, considering the stated weight. My 1977 Aluminum Cent, that Heritage sold for $50k, only weighed 1 gram since it was the same thickness as a regular copper planchet. -

+1 Why in the world would I payoff my tax deductible 2.6% mortgage when the S&P and NASDAQ are at historical highs? I don’t keep much cash and routinely buy big ticket items with a lower interest credit line which I payoff quickly. -
