45 Coin Lot--Rainbow MS Lincolns... cherry red and lustrous
Here's the scoop--I have 45 1963 Lincolns with very similar, pretty toning. Some are clearly nicer than others (some are a little dirty...) They are all cherry red and lustrous. Also, I have seen similar coins in PCGS holders, although I cannot say 100% how they will be feeling if you choose to slab any. I'm asking $57… -
Re: .
Misrepresentation is a contract law concept. It means a false statement of fact made by one party to another party, which has the effect of inducing that party into the contract. For example, under certain circumstances, false statements or promises made by a seller of goods regarding the quality or nature of the product… -
Re: What do you do when collecting turns into hoarding?
<<Find a a really nice special coin or 2, fall in love with them, then force yourself to buy them with the proceeds of the sale of extra hoarded dreck. It may take a month who knows, but during that time you will accomplish 3 things, #1 Youll reduce the hoard. #2 Youll end up with a nice coin or two. #3 youll grow your… -
Re: Sammy Sosa 2001 season...where does it rank
This is from a review by Alan Thurston that I found on good reads about the new Jackson book. I found it well articulated and explained and will contrast as I listen to the book. The transcript is an invaluable addition to Black Sox Scandal historiography that contains material that bolsters Jackson's case. To his… -

Re: Gold markets open $2260
Mining is traditionally a bad way to capitalize on the rising gold price. Goldminers actually worked for one/a few....he can tell you if like the energy companies the mining stocks have "gotten religion" or at least if the gold miners have (it appears the diversified miners like BHP, RIO, VALE, FCX are better positioned).… -
Re: USPS postal thefts, probably inside the Jersey City Distribution Center
only the thieves themselves truly know when the karma hits. it’s unfortunate their victims don’t get to witness when the piano drops from a story above, ontop of their head. sometimes, when I’m in public and I see someone fall down really hard, or take a direct hit of bird-droppings to the face, I always wonder, “what did… -
Re: 1941 bronze wheat penny
JBK Not disputing or correcting you, just letting you know why I posted what I did. Pre 1944 Lincoln cents were made of 95% copper and 5% tin and zinc. Bronze is made of 80-90% copper and 10-20% tin. Lincoln cents seem to fall in between so I don’t know if either term is technically correct but I think copper is more… -
Watched RCTV, the show was dedicated to selling what is remaining of MS62 1899-P Liberty $20 Gold

.........all part of the great "European gold hoard." This guy Rick is the best snake oil salesman on TV. The PCGS price guide for MS62 1899 $20 Gold Liberty coins is $3k. He is selling them for $4,495. The best part is that they are "Smithsonian Quality." 😂 Did you also know this coin is a 'key date?' 😂 Of note, I checked… -
Reasons for 2008 Boom and Bust?
Who here has a good (and of course infallible) memory? In 2008 metals exploded around St. Patricks Day, with $1000 gold and $21 silver. By Fall gold was down around $700, and silver around $9. What was happening in March to make it go crazy? I was laid up with my broken leg that month, and missed a lot of the fun. I know…
