I have taken advantage of thier gurantee several times and they made it right every time. No complaints at all. The only issue is it usually takes a month or so to see any results. For me what happed is that silver coins sometimes go bad with milk spots or AT after they are slabbed. They take care of it without questions. -

What you have are common, but popular, modern coins that are dependent on the plastic for their value. If the dreaded milk spots should start to appear the liquidity of your coins will drop sharply. Does PCGS still guarantee their grades on graded bullion coins?
I know that PCGS quit guaranteeing grades on the Silver Eagles that milk-spotted some time ago. I have some graded Gold Eagles that have developed fugly toning since graded, though. Does anyone know if PCGS still guarantees the grade for those? Thanks! -

sorry i've none to look at but yours...maybe more will chime who do hold these. makes me think if this is a developing problem and pcgs ends up buying a bunch of these back like milk spots on eagles they may change position and just stop grading anything new out of the mint..except gold... -

With respect to number three. I'm not certain I know how to clean up milk spots. Perhaps we need to dig deeper on this one. You forgot about the part where one always salutes a member entering the forum with a higher posting count. Formalities of rank are important for the corps to function correctly. -

A 50:50 jewel luster and distilled water solution followed by several alcohol dips then using a compressed air source to blow off the final rinse usually works. I always used to get some milk spots that would develope after a period of time using this method. Russ is the dip master... ask him. -
