The reference to the mild soap comes from the directions on the side of the jar of EZ-Est. "wash immediately with mild soap, then rinse thoroughly under water". WTB: A Few Spotted Eagles!!
Looking to buy a few milk spotted silver eagles for spot removal testing. Need a couple in NGC and a couple in PCGS slabs. Also there are some which have spots that are more tea colored than they are white. Would like a couple of them as well. Prefer to pay around spot. PM or BAJJERFAN@aol.com with what you have. -

Yes, NCS conserves proof coins. Whether or not spots can be removed will depend on the nature of the spots. The mint-caused milk spotting that was fairly common on early '60's proofs is embedded in the planchet and is not removable without damage.
