DIGS O' THE DAY (2010-03-07): A MILE DOWN BLADEN ROAD

DIGS O' THE DAY (2010-03-07): A MILE DOWN BLADEN ROAD We'd just returned from an overnight trip down to Jacksonville, Florida, and the afternoon found me a little tired and sleepy. I knew I'd only end up napping if I stayed around the house, so I decided to initiate my "walk a mile a day" plan. As mentioned in the previous… -

Re: The proper way to act on the Coin Forum
With respect to number three. I'm not certain I know how to clean up milk spots. Perhaps we need to dig deeper on this one. Re: Free shot at an Accented Hair on eBay.

<< <i>Just what is the premium on a non-cam AH? >> It is very condition dependent. A high percentage - much higher than the regular - are doggie POS coins. Many are milk spotted, and many more that are spot-free suffer from obverse hairlining. Nice ones grading PR66 or better do bring a premium. For raw ones a true PR66… -
Re: You can't have it both ways
There is a significant difference between doctoring and conserving! Dipping a coin does less harm than many here would like to believe and to dip or not dip is a question of relevance. Dipping a crusty circulated coin is just plain stupid however popping a modern uncirculated coin in a preventative dip is not. I have no… -
