Re: Block this EBayer
<< <i>3.) I get the EBay Account Info. The person on the other end of phone claims not to have an EBay account. >> Assume this one is true and report it to eBay as person (whrod) with false contact info. That is a NARU offense. If he is lying his account gets yanked. I fitting punishment. If he is telling the truth, then a… -
Re: This must be a record for a ASE set OVER 9K
I didnt want to comment earlier because i know the seller, and he was also concerned that he wouldnt get paid--but he said the cashiers check came in today, and he is quite happy. This was an honest auction (bidders identities were hidden to keep scammers away), there were 3 different bidders at 8500 and above, and the… -

<< <i>I bought a toned Morgan from Bondman a few months ago (without knowing about his photoshop habits) and when I got the coin, it really looked NOTHING like the picture. Fortunately he honored his return policy, even refunding S&H. >> Which I guess separates the mere hucksters from the scam artists. Scammers don't offer… -
Re: eBay Bidder ID Question
I still say that it is now easier for scammers thanks to ebay's new policy. Just have a friend bid someone up is what you need to watch out for. Check past sells and see if the names add up to someone near their location. The new id's are the first and the last letters in the names so just check a sellers history before… -
Re: Anyone want to guess the grade of these 1928 Golf cards? Grades are in!!
All my churchmans, Hignetts etc etc etc are white too. If they are company reprints who cares. I doubt very much that some scammer reprinted them. Many of these sets never saw the back of a cigarette pack, many were back doored or cut up later from sheets. Nice cards, I bet the seller claimed they were very good. lol Steve -
Re: WARNING: Stolen Ebay id: sionyn
Also, any message from or through ebay will show up in your My Page messages. JT >> This is what I was warning people about 2 days ago. Your My Page messages are not guaranteed safe!! Scammers are sending messages through the eBay message systems with false links that steal your id/pw if you log into them. Beware even… -
Re: The effect of a rising coin market: will dealers and collectors suffer because of who might be comin

hey Dan i think all the crooks----coin doctors, scam artists, etc.----have been involved for quite some time now. what aggravates me about the scammers is that those in the know are reluctant to divulge identity. they seem to hide behind the "liability" excuse when "advantage" might be compromised. an example might be a… -
Re: Question about Ebay Auction - Fleer 86-87 Michael Jordan Rookie
I've been looking on Ebay for a Jordan Rookie at a bargain price (if that's possibe). I noticed that there are many Jordan Rookie "Reprints" on the auction. Is the difference between the '86-87 original' and the 'reprint' the date on the back of the card? Ebay has gone to hell in a hand basket with all the scammers and… -
Re: 1818 Proof Quarter Mechanical Error
I might for my personal amusement since I know the history of it, but if it’s incorrect, I wouldn’t want it getting into the wrong hands. Only takes one scammer to assert its real and fleecing someone. I’ll bring it to Baltimore and show it around and get some opinions. I assumed when I first posted everyone would agree… -
Reverse Image search these pics

Awesome detective work Gentle man. You found the next scammer. One comment has lead to so much speculation. Maybe a fake coin, I don’t know. I’m don’t know everything about coins, but I’m not saying I don’t know everything about coins. So.... you Dick Tracey of the bunch. Tell me where you trace these photos back tok!?
