Scammers will put lesser valued or damaged items back in the box then ask for a refund. Ebay makes it too easy for this to happen and the seller can't do anything about it. -

In most cases MD has no value associated to it, that however does not keep the scammers on YouTube and ebay form attempting to fleece those that are not knowledgeable. -

I would assume a scammer would purchase the sleeve and then place a reprint inside and say, "Look! Here's proof that it's authentic, but it's trimmed.. shucks." -

I agree - I'm not sure exactly what the scammer has in mind, but he will try to scam you in some way, no doubt about it. -

I haven't read the thread but it seems to me that a COA is useless if a scammer can buy one on ebay and attache it to fake coins. --Jerry -

Ya it's fake. It's one of the older ones, where there's a diagonal gash in the obverse shield at the IBE in LIBERTY. The scammers always photoshop to blur it. Ray -

Patrick isn't responsible for the reprint card market, and he's not a scammer. My personel opinion of reprints has changed in the last couple of days.
