1935-D Washington Quarter , Milk Spot? Concerns/Questions

Alright everyone, I just got in this 1935-D in what otherwise is spectacular Gem Condition other than a few areas of concern. I have several concerns. Firstly, the milk spots that seem to be on the obverse. Will these spots prevent a coin from being graded? Is there anyway to remove them? Secondly, a dark tiny spot on the… -
1970 Proof set with milk spots...
I bought a 1970 Proof set not too long ago for $5. I normally don't collect sets, but this one had a very well struck nickel (FS) with soft gold/purple toning, and the Lincoln cent appears to have multicolored toning on Lincoln's body/suit. ....has this Milk Spot problem? Can anyone post an example of this happening on a Brittania, Kangaroo, Panda, Maple leaf, etc? If you can find an example I'd like to see it. If not, knowing the past problems SAE's have had with milk spots, why hasn't the Mint looked into how other mint's produce their silver bullion coins… -
Is there a seasonal element to ASE milk spotting?
It was 96 degrees today with 90+ humidity. 100 tomorrow........ As I sit here looking at some 07/08 ASEs pulled for submission it occurs to me it may not be the best time to submit. They would go from a cool 72 degrees in house/car/Post Office into a truck with 95-120+ degree heat and 90+ humidity. The cool metal hitting… -
