No. Your coin has obvious post mint damage. 1) Learn how coins are made during the minting process and what types of errors are possible during the minting process. 2) Study verified examples of errors to learn what the different types actually look like. 3) Use common sense. Ok, since you asked, yes there is more silver in 1 Morgan or Peace dollar than in 2 half dollars. Nearly $3 more silver with silver at this price. Personally, we pay $40 for circ dollars and $38 for 2 silver half dollars at our shop. Keep on keepin on! -
