First Year Type 1 Gold Dollar: 1849 G$1 NGC MS62 SOLD
This is the closed wreath variety. Housed in an older NGC holder before they indicated the variety on the slab. This coin has gorgeous frosty and original surfaces with very few marks for the grade. Great report, thanks for posting it! I really liked your 1921-S Morgan, and also the 1945-S Walker, haven't seen many with that nice toning! But the most unusual thing you posted was the Serial #1 $1 FRN, very cool!
