PCGS Coin Sniffer questions
I don't know if anybody on here can answer these questions other than PCGS bosses, but here are a couple of mine. Please post yours! 1) Everything smells. Does PCGS have a list of acceptable smells versus not acceptable smells? A bogus example would be if I was eating an apple while holding a coin. I might get apple juice… -
T206's for Sale
First come first serve, the only fair way. I just picked up a couple of PSA submission boxes from my Post Office this morning to sort through some of the items that will be for sale and have decided to try and presell these cards for Saturday shipments. Some were purchased by me directly from the mint (cost $2.10 each as I recall). They are not your average run-of-the-mill… -
Re: just checked my 2006 w unc ase's ngc 69..........not good...
<< <i>i was checking some slabbed monthly in my SDB and I had dessicant in there and then noticed some problems on proofs so went the food-saver vacuum seal route. what are the conditions inside the safe as far as humidity and temperature? i'd try to conserve what you have by vacuum sealing the slabs in food-saver bags and… -
Re: I guess all the Accented Hair bloodhounds are at evening services tonight?

TommyB, << <i>What do the milk spots do as far as grading goes? >> It depends on where they're located. In the case of this coin, prominent on the obverse as they are, they're a killer. Probably a three point drop. << <i>Have you figured out a way to get rid of them? >> AFAIK, there is no way to completely remove them…
