Re: Who's the Best Hockey Player Ever?
<< <i> And he didn't need to drag McSorely around on a leash either, which at least counts for something. >> Once again, I love the way you think. I hate the whole culture of ritualized violence that Don Cherry and his ilk celebrate and I think unless and until the NHL addresses it, they'll always be a second tier sport in… -

Re: A coin dealer's worst nightmare when dealing with a retail customer
<< <i> You were lucky they didn't get a lawyer and sue you for what they would claim is a coin dealer taking advantage of some old guy with brain cancer and dementia. Just saying. >> Thats what I would do even if I knew better of the situation. I have access to free legal and I would either get a settlement or milk any… -

The quality of modern player autographs is worthless.
I won an Alexander Ovechkin signed photo at the local card shop over the weekend and the signature is basically an unreadable scribble. I have thought for some time that the overwhelming majority of modern player autographs are nothing more than worthless, illegible pieces of chickenscratch. It's hard for me think of a… -
Re: The Barber Mega Thread - Part Two

Labelman87 is correct, he's not as old as I am, he only looks older. 😎 I thought we ( Labelman87 & I ) were not going to show off old coins we sold; this was an agreement he and I had together so we wouldn't cry over spilt milk. That 96-O shown previously is very nice, substantially nicer than what is available today. (… -

Re: Bowling and Wrestling - the 50s - 60s - 70s
<< <i>they play for so little money. >> This was one of the main reasons I stopped competing. I never envisioned being a full time professional, since in the end, i still looked at bowling as fun and never wanted it to get past being that serious. When I started bowling regionals in 2002, the entry for a weekend regional… -
Re: Mike's TTM items and other autos - Latest New Additions

Added some new golf things today from the Chevron World Challenge. Sparsely attended due to the sudden lack of Tiger Woods. Everyone was in a pretty good mood to sign though... Added two new signatures to my ongoing Us Amateur golf flag... Justin Leonard (lower right of embroidery) Mark O'Meara (lower left corner of flag)…
