Re: New 2010 Shield Cents for FREE!!!

<< <i> << <i> back in the 80s there was a trumpet player, a busker, who played before and after all Seattle sporting events. He'd stand with a plastic 3 gallon tub between his legs and would bounce it to the beat. On the front of the tub he had marked "NO CANADIAN!!!" >> Back in the 80's the US dollar was worth $1.33 to… -
Re: Coin Collecting circa 1960
<<I didn't start collecting till I was 21 in 1965 ( too busy with sports in school). I was in the Air Force and in 1968 was stationed at Syracuse Univ. attending a language school. Upon completion I received orders to Anchorage Alaska. Before leaving Syracuse, I went to a bank and got $400 in dimes to search for silver---I… -

Re: Cobb /Edwards T206 Wagner
Obvious fake. How they got so much mileage out of a spliced/hybrid card, a lightly back sanded 1985 Hygrade Sports card company Baseball Legends Wagner reprint front O-glued onto a vintage Piedmont common with the top two paper layers of the common (the face) SANDED (not peeled) down is a testimony to their perseverance.… -
Re: It's time for gold and silver to retreat 40% over the next year or two.
For gold to be at $900 or higher right now would suggest some period of Weimer hyperinflation occured. I don't recall this happening. Granted the price of fuel has risen quickly, that still would only reflect a price of gold in the neighborhood of $500/oz. Rather than a 40% decline in gold over the next few yrs expect a… -

MUCH TO MY WIFE AND I THE CARD TURNED OUT TO BE A 4. I NOTICED THIS ONE IS NOT AS NICE BUT A POSSIBLE 2. ONCE AGAIN IM INTRESTED THIS WOULD MAKE A NICE 2ND ADDITION. THANKS… -
Re: 715

Walter Johnson. He could throw a 85 mile per fastball with is feet. Also, Babe Ruth didn't put on the girth and rolly polly status until LATE in his career. I can't stand IDIOTS that either ONE just try and stir the pot for the hell of it and then run like a little bit$h or TWO are just so STUPID that they think there…
