Re: Davalillo booted
i found so loose change so i will give my 2 cents worth. i know i would rather anyday read a post from jim (davalillo) than to read the numerous post about PRO grading company and the ebay scammer of the day, and i just e-mail him and the top 3 bidders to let them know what is going on.i will reply with his e-mail. he may… -
Re: PSA Registry Site improvements?
I'd like to see PSA offer a premium pop report subscription that would look something like this... - You could get a complete list of cert numbers by grade for each card (including cards returned ungraded), and see the date each card was graded (and perhaps even the invoice number). It might also be nice to see any notes… -
Re: WOW !!! FEEBAY WAKEUP CALL FOR ME
If it were up to me I'd just go back to 1987. I mean, the internets are nice and all, I think it's neat that I get to send all of the stuff from my basement to the rest of the world, but when it comes down to it nothing will beat good old fashioned selling pre-internets in my opinion. And I too have burned out several… -
Re: 1976 Topps Baseball Thread
Gamberale, What is the magnitude of the pop increase? I don't track it, so I don't know. Whether PSA has relaxed their standards is open for debate. Many on this forum think their standards have increased in recent years and discount older holders for that reason. Personally I think their stringency varies over time,… -
Re: 1948 Leaf PSA 7 o/c Paige scam auction on Ebay
<< <i>Could be the guy sells this card then buys it from Levi then sends it on to the buyer. Its interesting even going on the theory of someone pulling the trigger on his auction than he buys the card from Levi at a lower cost and than once received he ships to his buyer.....He still gives the impression that the card is… -
Re: If I put a roll back together, is it still original?
I know your question is completely different, but a buyer in these times will have trouble believing anything you tell them whether true or not because of one thing no matter the story the cherry was popped, anything after is second. Realone, not to worry - none of the rolls are for sale, thus there is no buyer to worry… -
Re: 1909-S on end of roll.........$1100 and counting
He said HE had never opened the roll. He didn't say that the roll had never been opened, The language is typically very carefully used in these sucker auctions. Carefully used language can be a warning flag to stay away from an auction. Some time ago I bought an "old" roll that I barely recovered what I spent for it. Not… -
Re: Fake cards destroyed

He listed fake auto/GU on ebay (all cards pictured on this thread) He listed fake GU on FCB (one of the cards pictured) I communicated to him thru ebay. Gave me a story and I called bologna. Saw a thread on Topps about a Pujols patch that was previously owned by a Topps member somehow now had a auto and linked this scam on… -
Re: This eBay Auction Frustrated Me

<< <i>I don't see that he had any "Reserve Not Met" condition on that listing. All someone had to do was bid 38¢ on it before he pulled it, and eBay rules say he would have had to let the auction continue to the closing date, right? >> NO. A seller can cancel the bids and end an auction at his discretion. I did it… -
Re: Franklin Half MS 65?
I consider myself raped, robbed and insulted, pretty much in that order. I waited a week to say anything just to let my anger cool, it hasn't cooled. Maybe some before and after pictures would be nice, even though I don't have a camera that will do it justice. Before as the 63 CAM and after I take a sledge hammer to it!!!…
