Another fun mech error: 1866 No Motto Proof Seated dollar. Coinfacts, Mintage: 2 The coin inside the holder clearly had a motto. A 1-2 million dollar difference in price that I am sure PCGS was happy to fix. Certainly the biggest "oopsie" that I have seen. -

1881-O Morgan NGC64 has nice golden light tone. Was broken out of an old PCGS MS64 rattler by a dealer who hoped for a 65. I used to use metal snips to cut them out. Ngc and pcgs would hold the coin securely, but I was cutting a $2 1/2 gold Indian out of a no name holder once and the coin slipped out of the prongs and I literally cut it almost into two pieces. Made me sick. It was a pretty decent coin too, even coming from a basement brand… -
PCGS (AU) 1861 Civil War $2 1/2 quarter eagle gold... (SOLD)
Offered here is a slightly circulated $2 1/2 gold civil war era eagle. I recently sent this in, hoping for an AU55/AU58 grade, but didn't meet my expectations. Still has nice even luster, with no hairlines. It might be worth resubmitting. $285 delivered...
