I would be suspicious if this had not been a prearranged deal. In other words, how many folks walk around with Cashier's Checks in their pockets? You people are missing the point. The problem is not that it is listed as CC or ANACS which are just there because he was too lazy to change the default. First question is, do you post on rec.collecting.coins? If so it is possible that he is just looking for an email penpal but be suspicious. Give no specifics about what you have or where you are located. There are a lot of scammers with .ru email addresses that will try to scam you by offering you rare coins at bargin… -

I'm surprised I haven't heard this mentioned. Several yrs ago when I sold on Ebay this is what I did. I would send a note in the package. It would explain simply that I wanted to make sure the buyer was left positive feedback blah blah, therefore it was automated once they left positive feedback. Once they left feedback… -

Pacific's autographs that year had a foil stamp on the front indicating that they were certified autos, and none were serial numbered.
