That sounds like a bitter experience with Mastro, and I sure hope such doesn't befall me as a consignor. I have my own ugly tales about eBay and PayPal, and the last time the scammer understood and manipulated the system so cleverly that neither company could or would help me, despite an outright $950 loss to the criminal.… -

. that is where i am at with eBay currently. why in the world they want to control payments/fees but still have shipping labels, purchases etc go through paypal is just plain inconvenient. I think will lead to some. Probably not as many as in the 80's/90's but more than there were 10 years ago. As people get more and more fed up with Ebay and scammers, it might help them visit a local shop instead where you could develop a personal relationship with someone you trust.
