Re: Shipped before payment--any good options if no pay?*resolved*
<< <i>You could always do a small claim court action. Just provide the court with as much evidence as you have from ebay and from your own records of the item. And if you get a judgment it may be difficult to execute it. You could always post on an anonymous venue online so if someone does a search for Joe Shmoe, Sioux… -
Re: getting Tired of these
<< <i>I have been seeing someone on ebay list a coin and say its such and such...Does this make anyone else sick? >> ebay is huge with millions of users and billions of sales. There'll always be some dopes, jerks, and scammers. And I suppose we'll always have to read about them here. That gets pretty old too. But keeping… -
Re: Question regarding EBAY seller protection...
If anything you're wasting your money on postal insurance. You're far more likely to have a Paypal/customer issue than a rare screw up in the postal system. You need protection against scammers and signature confirmation protects you against Paypal and the people who will take advantage of you if you don't follow Paypal's… -
Re: Is BBCE finally drying up?
So I just saw that the guy went to eBay Canada to sell that...it's so bush league. Doing his best to hide it from everyone. Ironically, the self-proclaimed "Mr. 1978 and 1979" sold a starter kit to a potential scammer to be able to scam another fellow 1978 collector. It's twisted in many ways..from hiding it off on the… -
Re: More graded paper cutouts. What's going on here?
<< <i>Didn't PRO Grading grade this kind of stuff? >> No, PRO only graded authentic collector cards, they did tend to overgrade and also grade trimmed cards but every single card they graded was a true collector card unlike this Ryan POS! PSA has now sunk as low as those garage scammer of yesteryear ie NASA, etc..... add… -
Re: please delete
There is absolutely no reason to do this very simple thing as a courtesy to your potential customer, other than, you don't have the items in hand. Other than: Don't have a camera handy. Suck at taking pictures. Item is in the SDB. Don't have a photobucket account or other hosting software. Don't think it's necessary to… -
Re: how ebay can prevent bogus listings in hijacked accounts
<< <i>The best thing you can do for yourself is to never log in to anything via a link that you click. Always open a new window and type www.ebay.com or www.paypal.com - this doesn't help for people who aren't aware of this, though. >> Yes it does. When they give up their account password via phishing it will still take a… -
Re: Anybody ever get a retaliatory neg?
<< <i>100% positive since 1999, but I expect that will change with the new rules. Any seller who thinks this is a good change is kidding themselves. No matter how good your customer service is, someone sometime will have a complaint and express it in the form of a neg, with no risk of being rated themselves. Of course, all… -
Re: There's always one in the group...
I sell items sometimes on eBay, but haven't had paypal problems yet. I am curious why you wouldn't take credit card payment through paypal. Do scammers refuse the charges and cheat you out of the already shipped item? or is there a delay period before funds go into your account? Or does paypal take a higher fee out of it?… -
Re: ALERT - Bad 1808 Bust Half on eBay - Seller response in thread

People thin I am a scammer... I can tell you right now I have 2 negative feedbacks and over 2000 positive.. I sell good coins... Sometimes there are…
