You should go to the Post Office which you shipped from ASAP and file a mail recall form. Your situation is beginning to look like the work of a scammer at the other end that either used a stolen credit card account number, or that phished in to another person's Paypal account. Hope you didn't ship the item yet. -

There are lots of dealers who won't accept PP from Canadians because packages sent north of the border cannot be tracked, so sellers feel vulnerable to scammers who could claim item not received. -

Actually, that one (or variations of it) have been floating around for some time. While most of us are savvy enough to catch on to the fact they are scams, a percentage (estimates range from 2-5%) fall for it. Unlike today's boxes that are sealed with adhesive, the Finest box is just shrinkwrapped... so, your concern crossed my mind, but the eBay seller (xgamingx) had lots of 90s unopened for auction with huge positive feedback numbers, so I felt safe in this transaction... but I bet there are some scammers out there selling… -

yes, i agree. we need to stick exclusively to threads about ebay scammers, phishing for paypal & ebay accounts, at vs nt threads, & of course the obligatory major dealers promoting their's & other dealer's coins. oh, & there's not enough whining about getting hosed after stupidly buying coins sight-unseen. The auctions were finally removed but the seller remains. You know eBay should have NARUed the jerk. If eBay wanted to send a message out to scammers, they would have NARUed this guy and sought prosecution thru the local authorites. I agree Zef some buyers are impossible to please and some are just downright scammers. But what you descibe is exactly what I am trying to avoid, it helps me go back and see when I actually shipped the item. I have been thinking about putting delivery confirmation #'s on feedback as well. -

Reminds me of the way that super-scammer Toniscards used to describe his auctions. I haven't seen Toni lately on ebay although as usual he's got his website in "Italy" loaded with fake scans of cards for sale at one-half the prce the cards would really sell for on ebay. Maybe he switched over to Yahoo. -

Even if those are genuine PCGS labels with the grades, which I doubt, the cert verification page says questionable color and matches the label inside the slab. That is what matters. This seller is a scammer if he is pulling this nonsense about duplicate labels with problem free grades. I don't care how much feedback he… -

I agree that there are dealers that not that great, however they go buy the way side soon. On ebay they number more and more scammers. Some only change their ID and continue on. Also some buyers look for fake gold and silver and then go pawn shops. coin shops, flee markets and coin shows trying to sell them as the real…
