Re: 1964-D Peace Dollar
<< <i>But then some Congress scammer got a deal for one of their friends to have the gift shop run by the independent (private) contractor. It was moved outside the main Mint building, the museum was removed, and the resulting shop has nothing but the cheapest junk trinkets. >> The fact it's run by a private contractor is… -
Re: Check out these hi end SGC Ruth and Mantle cards from this seller.
I thought this was pretty funny: SCAMMER, uses fake VIN to respresent a car with better autocheck report history Reply by trichardz09 (Nov-30-09 20:08): ONLY A DIRTBAG EX-HUSBAND WOULD SAY SUCH A LIE,DONT BE MAD BECAUSE I'M HAPPY !! As for the cards. I still don't understand why people bid on high dollar cards from sellers… -
Re: Wow, 4 cents off MSRP!
Based on BBCE's assessment, this appears it could end up back on the market by someone else with a simple NM-MT pack swap( i.e., add 1 bird pack, subtract 1 english to get correct sticker distribution expected). If it is then sent to BBCE as a fresh box, it possibly could obtain a non-frankenstein assessment. This would… -
Re: International Shipping Question
<< <i>I stand corrected. I have sent cards their but I guess the customs tracking information is not what you were wanting. If you use standard international shipping you can send cards to many places for less then $4.00. >> DPeck, the bar code on the customs sticker does not track anything, it simply indicates what… -
Re: Don't understand Ebay!
Originally posted by: mgrosman Are there any on there that are legitimate that anyone's bought from recently? They are out there but few and far between. Re: Not Good
If they ever send it in for a re-holder they are gonna be in for a rude awakening. The card is fake. The flip must be printed out and glued to original back. I’ve bought one before. Psa keeps the slab and label and sends back the card. The seller has old psa slabs somehow and a welding machine. No frost anywhere. It would… -
Re: Mantle Rookie on eBay again.
<< <i> << <i>Does anybody really think this transaction will be completed??? Highly doubt it... Treasurefinder cant be this dumb... >> Of course not - the buyer is either a scambuster, or it's the sellers shill account or a buddy of his shilling. >> Sure would look "good" wouldn't it?...a positive feedback on this… -
Re: Conman might get 20 years in Cheerios theft
"Ah your more of a Hot and Steamy breakfast cereal guy " hehe, funny, BS, funny... ... sorry I'm still so edgy about the scumbag scammer who made the OP. Many forum members may remember our fracas from the beginning days of the 2008/07 rev ASE sales. I was really disappointed in the number of forum members who rushed to… -
Re: ANyone ever had this problem with Paypal and delivery confirmation?
<< <i>Remember...the guy delivering your package doesn't care about you, your purchase, and most likely his job... >> It's a nice fun easy job that pays decent. Most of us care. Some don't. You can find good and bad people working anywhere, from doctors and lawyers to garbage collectors and street sweepers. They're all… -
Re: Chances of crossing MGS, PGS, GEM, BCCG etc to a PSA 10?
BGS and BccG are totally different. BGS has solid brick holders with an inner sleeve. They have grading standards and keep a population report. BccG is a bulk system for guys to get things slabbed a 10. The slabs are as junk as the grade and will damage cards and almost everything gets a 10. It's no better than PRO, PGI...…
