If I was a scammer, I would take the time to make sure my phishing e-mails were put together flawlessly. Even if you weren't aware of the way these guys try to scam people, it seems like a dead giveaway when you read an e-mail from what is supposed to be a big-time company and they don't know that there should be a period… -

Just on the name of the winners Ebay ID, I would put the odds at 70% scam. It is the kind of name sock puppets and phishers tend to use. Kind of generic, but not overly generic. Common names, yet unusual in that first and last name combination. I'm sure lots of folks with common names are honest, unfortunately, scammers… -

I'm sure there are a number of legitimate dealers and collectors who sell coins on Ebay, and you very well may have good experiences buying raw on Ebay. However, I hear of more problems with scammers and not-so-legitimate sellers that I think its fool hardy to buy raw coins from someone you don't know. I listen to those… -
