Re: ***PCGS Service Announcement - New "Genuine" Service***
I like the idea of getting problem coins into slabs, it potentially takes thousands off the market for these ebay scammers and may create another market for these coins, however I also think the problem should be noted on the slab. I know it does not take much to crack a slab, but at least a few will remain in them. The… -
Re: If I sell a very expensive coin on ebay ..........
<< <i>if you remove the money from your paypal account right away- then does a charge back still work? >> Not if you close the paypal account before the chargeback. The only recourse the buyer has is to come after you legally. If you delivered what he paid for then you've got no worry. If he's a scammer he won't be coming… -
Re: Can this really be a PSA 9?
<< <i>Every case looks really frosty and he has a 61 Yaz and 71 Rose that you can see what appears to be pry marks and a crack or two. >> I've gotten stuff directly from Newport Beach that looks just like that. They look frosty in the scan, but the tamper-evident areas of the slab still look good. All the cards have… -
Re: PayPal Dispute Help
Well, if anyone cares, PayPal found in my favor. Shockingly, they said they recovered my $105 from the seller...err...scammer's account. While the PayPal page says they reversed the charge on my credit card, I haven't seen it on my credit card site, yet. Things are looking good. I think I'll put the $105 in my "All-Star… -
Re: Look At This Negative Feedback Left
The problem is there are just as many if not more scamming buyers out there. The problem is all we ever hear about are the scamming sellers because most legit sellers accept the fact that they are going to lose some money to scammers and do not whine and cry about it like buyers do. They just move on. Taking the feedback… -
Re: Shipped before payment--any good options if no pay?*resolved*
<< <i>You could always do a small claim court action. Just provide the court with as much evidence as you have from ebay and from your own records of the item. And if you get a judgment it may be difficult to execute it. You could always post on an anonymous venue online so if someone does a search for Joe Shmoe, Sioux… -
Re: Gfg
Like the diff color serials we have seen pop up over the years. Altered by bleach, etc by scammers to scam people. Understand how notes are printed at the BEP. It is one thing for a sticker to make its way in during the process, like we saw in the banana note. It is another thing to have something else like a symbol… -
Re: More graded paper cutouts. What's going on here?
<< <i>Didn't PRO Grading grade this kind of stuff? >> No, PRO only graded authentic collector cards, they did tend to overgrade and also grade trimmed cards but every single card they graded was a true collector card unlike this Ryan POS! PSA has now sunk as low as those garage scammer of yesteryear ie NASA, etc..... add… -
Re: Question regarding EBAY seller protection...
If anything you're wasting your money on postal insurance. You're far more likely to have a Paypal/customer issue than a rare screw up in the postal system. You need protection against scammers and signature confirmation protects you against Paypal and the people who will take advantage of you if you don't follow Paypal's… -
Re: Is BBCE finally drying up?
So I just saw that the guy went to eBay Canada to sell that...it's so bush league. Doing his best to hide it from everyone. Ironically, the self-proclaimed "Mr. 1978 and 1979" sold a starter kit to a potential scammer to be able to scam another fellow 1978 collector. It's twisted in many ways..from hiding it off on the…
