Re: Can't understand why people aren't jumping on this one...
<< <i>Why does e-bay allow a default category from China? It would seem that for every reputable dealer in China there are 10,000 swindlers. That to me justifies cutting coin sales from china off. >> In our modern day of personal rights and lawsuits, eBay can't take a chance on wronging one legitimate seller who may sue… -
Re: Autograph collection on E-Bay UK - Your thoughts?
Every scammer should take a note on this guys auction. It is done to perfection. Even after you submit the autos and they are turned down, you will STILL want to believe they are real. Perfect mix of players. Perfect mix of big names. And just enough of a story to make you think maybe?? Anyone on this board of sports… -
Re: The Card ID # on a PSA graded card
While there's a few good reasons why a COLLECTOR might want to block their numbers, anybody trying to sell you cards with the numbers blocked needs to be looked at very cautiously. There are good reasons scammers don't want you to know, make it difficult to obtain, or can't provide you this information or a "clean"… -
Re: The $31,000.00 Junk Auction
Hmmm... "free" gifts through paypal.......wonder if they are sent in $0.01 or $0.02 increments? Also seems like the $2 bills are getting their use again. Another scammer to use PCGS price guide values for coins that, well, the TPGS isn't mentioned but wouldn't surprise me if it were SGS or another of that type....... I… -
Re: OT - Am I wrong in this eBay transaction?

"But don't worry about spoiling your excellent feedback - I am no blackmailer. I would only give negative feedbacks to people who are cheating other people. I am convinced you are not one of these - but in future I know that I cannot always rely on excellent feedbacks." --Scammer Never believe a rumor until it's officially… -
Re: Anyone else receiving scam Ebay "second chance" emails???
I received one the other day. It looked fake to me but others thought it was real. I contacted the original seller through e-bay and i received responces from both the seller and the scammer! He could be watching these boards. How else could he have known I contacted the original seller with a question. If the e-mails look… -
Re: Looking for help/advice on getting a retaliatory negative feedback removed on Ebay...
What is troubling is these scammers are getting more sophisticated. Member since: Tuesday, Jul 23, 2002 Location: United States This guy has been around a year and you would think that adds some legitimacy? Geraldo stopped another similar scam about a month ago and the guy had over 3 yrs on ebay with 100+ feedback. Ebay is… -
Re: Title Changed: Today 1-04-02 UpDates in 10 Different Sets. "Very Cool" Merc Registry
hi everyone, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! All I have to say about my set of Mercs is that I own all of them. We joke and have fun with each other and that is the way it should be. Leasing coins for a set is NOT the way to have fun in our hobby and anyone who does this is not a collector but a scammer and lowlife. I hope that no one… -
Re: LOL
That's why we call it "Fee Bay". You and erroroncoins love it, I did decades ago but can't understand it now (as a seller). As a buyer it was still wonderful (Until split with pay pall bill me later, cancellation of ebay bucks, outrageous premiums, russian scammers/counterfeiters etc.) All that plus current premiums makes… -
Re: BBCE Low on 80's Inventory
With this dramatic run up, I’m concerned about scammers getting their own fake BBCE wrap and putting out fake boxes as most boxes are going to stay untouched. For rack boxes, can any of us tell the difference between a 1978 and a 1984 box just from the outside? A sticker label can also be printed that can be very carefully…
