Re: I Heard PCGS Just Gave Pokeplayer101 The Boot...
End was precipated by the photos of the dealer at Baltimore along with using some not nice language towards his safety;;;; My dealer hit the nail.. Poke was using forum members in attempt to make himself whole for his own bad decision Not only Scammers in BST and also in forum using the goodness of members PCGs saved us… -
Re: Message Board Purchases vs eBay Purchases
Most collectors on here are VERY trustworthy and the few transactions I've had have gone very smoothly, but let's not forget that there have also been a number of scammers and sharks on here, too, who have unfortunately ripped off other members, so the percentage those represent overall is probably no different from the… -

Re: Another Gold Ponzi Scheme on eBay
<< <i>You ever notice how many of these slimeballs are "ID Verified"? Russ, NCNE >> ID verify is a joke. Just about every scammer I have seen has had it. A search on ICTA's site shows this seller is not a member. He's "sold" over $1 million worth of bullion in the last six weeks and he is not a member of ICTA? -
Re: What the heck can you do!! Complete BS
I now understand the humor in his posts.. My problem lies with his false assumptions and him saying I threatened him. All I said was if he was not so busy with PSA then he would see that another poster here was a scammer. It has since been proven. Remember the thread that "need not be named." Somehow he took that as a… -
Re: I don't even know where to start with this auction!
I'm not an expert in authenticating vintage cards, and as far as i'm concerned, PCG or whatever they call themselves isn't either. The bottom line...... 1)Only an idiot seller or a scammer would get this card slabbed by a 3rd rate company. 2)only an idiot buyer would spend the money to buy a card of this magnitude slabbed… -
Re: eBay Scam Warning - Phony Cashiers Check
I read in the paper this morning about an Ebay scammer using phony cashier's checks totalling a little over 8,000.00 and I went and looked up this thread, cause I was curious if it was the same people. If you look at Apostleoflight's feedback now, the negative feedback about the phony cashier's checks has been removed.… -
Re: The Elusive 1975 Christmas Rack
I'm surprised there isn't a national convention for all these scammers with their Xmas rack packs. The vendor booths at the convention could include sealing machine companies, plastic wrap suppliers, stapler manufacturers, as well as cheap offset printer dealers. Some of the "industry" learning exhibitions could include… -
Re: Another ebay idiot for your blocked list.
When I initially saw AGS in his listing, I was surprised that they couldn't recognize reprints, as they had a reputation for being unreliable graders but not scammers. Then I realized this was a different AGS (different name and label color, same acronym). "I've never heard of this grading company." Then WHY ON EARTH WOULD… -
Re: PSA's pack graders are clueless!
I assume they dont explain why because then scammers would know what they need to "fix". Your not going to ever get 100% accuracy as its all opinion and everyone has a different one. Plus humans make mistakes, even computers do too. Nothing is guaranteed 100% in life...uh well death and taxes are. lol
