Just heard of the passing of Bob Bruce, of All American Coin Co. & a Forum member
I just found out tonight that Bob died in Florida on July 13. He and I have been friends since 1999 and he was helpful in getting my interest in coins rekindled. I worked with him at a few shows in Pittsburgh over the years, and when he moved to Florida we stayed in touch. He really wanted to come up to the ANA this fall… -

Cincinnati Numsimatic Association (CNA) Coin Show report

ajw, Your point is very well taken. However, gambling has proliferated tremendously lately. It is not the taboo it once was. Personally, I wouldn't spend the $. The piece you have is great, and all the signatures are legit. If you ever decide to sell it, and you are going to do it yourself, then I'd go get the cert. If you go through an auction house, they'll do the authentication or pay for it themselves. Some like Heritage may charge you a fee… -
