I did a quick search and didn't find much other than a couple of ebay listings and one of those listings was removed by ebay. When ebay removes a listing that is not a good sign. Hopefully these things aren't fooling too many people any longer. Bidding got to "only" $162.50 and didn't meet the scammer's reserve. Good thing it didn't because a buyer would have likely received a pack of 5 "nice" EXMT-NM low-mid number commons with a few probably off center. -

As a matter of routine, I state that I will only accept Paypal from CONFIRMED addresses, in my auction. I do this in hopes that it will discourage prospective scammers, but I usually accept it from unconfirmed as well, as long as they have a good feedback as a buyer. Maybe it works, or maybe I've just been lucky so far. -

DS91 I read a post by you looking for someone to start a web site for Scammers and bogus cards.. It would be easy enough to do something like that without the PSA webmaster.. But if you ever did a Site with the content your talking about, you will need a Lawyer to protect you from the lawsuits that will come.. IMO -

I like Nomar the ball player just fine, it is just this Nomar the scam artist that gets me. I don't know why it gets my goat, maybe I need therapy? LOL. I am fairly new to the board and I haven't gottne sick of the scammer or what will this grade? threads yet. -

1989? Wow, and Al Gore had hardly even invented the internet. Who knew? Seriously though, I liked the openness of Ebay back then. But alot of what Ebay did back then was prior to scammers being able to figure out how to take advantage of a trust-based system. The world has certainly changed.
