Postal money orders are fool-proof though, since you have the cash in hand there is nothing a scammer can do through the USPS to take your cash back, right?? (no letters of demand from USPS to pay up, etc..?) -

I do! ACG wasn't mentioned as one of the grading companies! I'll pass... Seriously, each coin has an average value/price of $3,000? So, no reserve and one of those bidders might get it for $159? Scammer or nutcase, IMHO... -

Jim, he says he will send the card before he gets the payment. Say you will buy it and check out the tracking number and see what will really happens. Make that scammer go through the trouble of shipping something off. -

I thought the OP was looking for a damaged pre-1933 double eagle at melt to send to Dan Carr for one of his gold coin overstrikes. Glad to see the scammer got banned but you can be sure he'll be back. :# -

I dont know what it will do for the hobby and will roll with it. But I'm not happy about it and wish different types of changes could of been made. Less brands and be more solid. Card verification database, anti scammer and better customer service. wow. -

The 14-day return policy is not a huge factor, IMO, but with the new format, scammers and people that buy coins on approval wil be able to simply click a button and have their return labels printed out for them! A great improvement for lazy thieves and losers! -

Just didn't have that "usual suspects" scammer look to it. He's got three other unopened packs up for auction. One a cello with Gifford on tiop - I know some here have warned about raw cellos with a star on top. -

If some of those are not artificially toned, I will be shocked. Please let us know if they make it into holders if that is your goal. I have seen scammers use old packaging/albums to make it look legit, and fingers crossed that is not what happened here.
