Ignorant question here.... Do these scammers basically split the thick card in half in order to switch patches? I don't see any damage in the window area that house the patch. Just curious. -

I emailed him with my concerns regarding the flip and he replied that he will be sending it to PSA. If he ends the auction we will know he is not a scammer, if it goes to the end then he prolly is. Steve -

Try the classified ads in the back of Numis News and Coin world. A lot of these guys are collectors just trying to trade coins cheaply. Most of them are very honest but be wary anyway. There are a few scammers. -

this was tried with a t206 wagner ---maybe same seller---and he was shut down by ebay---what a blowhole,he knows he'll have the scammers lining up for this one! this is illegal and he will be notified soon. -

The only quasi-legitimate thing I can think of is if you're selling items that are rather embarrassing if people found out you were buying them. Too often, they are the purvey of scammers and shills. -

Only if he will let you choose the escrow company and it's located in the US. There are a lot of these scammers who will agree to an 'escrow' service and it turns out that the 'escrow' service is simply a front that they maintain as part of the scam. -

@Vicky247, look at the photos of the coins you showed above. Proof coins have reflective, mirrored fields. Mint state (MS) coins lack mirrored fields but show luster, that coruscating flash of light one sees when one rocks an uncirculated coin tilted towards a light source.
