Re: what is this?
it almost looks like a split die example we just found but still researching both on here and other places... we are trying to learn. and jayPem we haven't even discussed about the "value" because we don't know what it is... and aren't interested in assumptional critical bs that offers nothing truly relevant to the… -
Re: SP Authentic friggin sucks this year
vittleboy, if you can make any kind of profit, sell them before word gets out how bad they suck. Think about it...you get 9 rooies total in the three boxes, do you really want to take the chance that you'll get your money back. I guarantee you, if you can get $275 for the three boxes, you could buy the sp authentic cards… -
Re: The Official Detroit beats Philly Thread
<< <i>A good win against an overrated team! Roy Williams was carving up the Eagles D better than Moss ever dreamed of! If the Eagles lose TO to injury they are really in trouble, no one other than mabe Westbrook looked good. McNad is also looking good but he will choke in the big game ...you all know that! Are Eagle fan… -

Re: Modern Set of the Year Award - Give me a break

Mike: Are you saying that there is a certain PC’ness in the military and government? I would have never guessed. I agree with most of your comments. My purpose was not to make a PC post. If I was doing that, I would have raved on about how great PSA was and what a great selection PSA made. I would have stopped at that… -
Definition of a dealer, spurred by another thread
What is the definition of a dealer, and why is there so much acrimony ascribed to it? In a previous thread, I think I saw 5 different definitions, and there were noses turned up at various ones. Why is there such elitism associated with the term? Why are so many disgusted with the idea of a “dealer?” Let’s break it down a… -
Re: Failed Moderation
Bottom line is this forum is paid for and moderated by our host. If you don't agree with their rules you have the right to leave just like they have the right to close your thread. They post the rules clearly and didn't ban you. Instead of chastising the Moderator you should suck it up buttercup and be grateful. Since it… -
Re: National Card Dealers - any interesting...

Anyone from Indiana/Michigan know this guy. He goes to all the mall shows. He only deals in prewar cards, all ungraded, he also has oddball stuff like penants, pins etc. He told me he had his own grading company at one time but stopped due to getting too many cards to grade . He severly overgrades all his stuff and really… -
Re: Look what came across my table yesterday at a local coin show!
Thank you, Bob, for recognizing this piece is unique. Yes ... there is only one and this is it! It was sold through the GSA as a 'generic' dollar and cost the original purchaser ... $3. It was owned for many years by Leon Hendrickson at SilverTown before the current owner was able to obtain it. I mentioned this piece… -
Re: Looks like NGC is taking the lead...
<< <i> << <i>..i do not want everyone to have a free look at a coin I payed to have graded and encapsulated ; PCGS will never adopt this procedure as they are not stupid. >> that is the worst logic i've heard in a long time on the subject.
