Well, it's not a scammer who bought it. Scammers like to buy cheap and sell expensive, usually leaving the word "reprint" out of their own auction, like this seller. Assuming the winner is for real, I wonder what he will do with the warning. -

I would rather have the info available to everyone and eduacate the collector because because there are always going to be scammers out there. The more informed and educated the buyer can be makes it harder for the scammer to peddle their s%$t. -

key point though...this is not amazon. and have used that same message for years. zero problems. and if the scammer lies and ultimately scams, then which ebay account do you think will get nixed? the seller w a good track record or the newbie scammer? -

Don't expect a response from him. 99% of the time the typical ebay scammers don't reply to emails because the morons out there paying $2000+ for fake cards and cards the seller doesn't even have bid up the auctions enough to provide the scammer with the money he is looking for. -

There is no concrete evidence that Toppscollector and 80s junkie are the same person. It just seems that way to some conspiracy theorists because they both stole cards/money? Well, all scammers do that, but there are many different scammers out there, and these two aren't the only ones. -

As a new member here, will you ship to a well-established member before payment is sent? We've had scammers come here to sell expensive coins and then disappear without shipping them after being paid. -

Is the email addressed to you by name? It could be from a scammer (not Paypal) who wants some information. I received a couple that claimed to be from Paypal, addressed to my real name, they were from scammers. Have you tried logging directly into your Paypal account (not through the email)?
