Lots of counterfeits out there, not just the bullion either... scammers are everywhere and some bargain hunters forget to check the actual coins to stock photos... If ever in doubt feel free to compare your Perth Mint purchases to the photos we advertise. -

This is exactly what I was talking about. The scammers targeted the 100 oz Engelhard extruded silver bars since the end of the bars is flat and can be easily repaired after the silver is removed. I wouldn't doubt that other brands of bars were also targeted by the scammers. -

This sounds like a confused buyer and not a scammer. A scammer would have a much better story. Regardless, I hope you are able to clear this up. Dang...eBay is really scary now for sellers. -

Maybe, but a 100% Tariff on a $30 BU 1877 Indian Cent likely will not dent a scammers profit margin much -
Is it really that easy?
I sold a set to a guy (scammer) a couple of weeks back. Sent it in two large flat rate boxes. He gets the first box, calls Paypal saying the it is empty, no cards and Paypal puts a hold on those funds. The next day the second box arrives to this guy. Now, if I had just received an empty box instead of one weighing 45-50…
