Re: Suspicious
<< <i> << <i>The 57 Mantle "she" is offering is a reprint. >> That's how they all appeared to me. I can't conclude it because the scanner could be throwing back false negatives... but the '57 and the '59 for sure don't appear authentic. If they are counterfeit it would be interesting to see what sort of card stock she… -
Re: Running up fake/scam auctions on Ebay
a moron move is making the situation worse then before and this is what many are doing instead of getting rid of these scams by reporting them they take matters into their own hands and end up making matters 3 times as worse then usual I have dealt with a few scammers in my life and trust me it's a game with them to see… -
Re: Albert Pujols Bowman Chrome (mnmiracle2004)
<< <i>Good Lord! Stan the Man came on here and accused this seller of being a scammer. Whether you like the way it was handled or not he was proven correct. By simply going to the feedback history of any member they can contact another member thru the eBay "contact member"… -
Re: FedEx ???
fedex is pretty good at recovering packages. did you request a copy of the actual shipping label. the fedex site usually just lists the town, the zip and a signature, if obtained. scammers on ebay took advantage of this for years bc it would trick ebays system into thinking the package was truly delivered when the scammer… -
Re: I don't know if I agree with the complaint that low end problem coins affect the prices for properly
Expanding pops have brought down the prices in some series such as short set Walkers. Some of these coins are down 50% or more, in part, because the pops have exploded in the higher grades. A few of the older grades have crept up a grade, but many have not. As for getting "help," unfortunately the novice will have just as… -
Re: Think this zero-feedback newbie has a high-grade Babe Ruth rookie?
<<< OK, assuming an experienced eBayer, the choice of a brand-new ID for this sale is scary. Makes me think it's a hit-and-run. Also suspicious is that deliberately selling with zero feedback indicates that he doesn't care whether it gets close to market value (because he doesn't have the card and ANY amount is gravy). Not…
