Re: Grrr! Definitely Not A PSA 10 Montana Rookie In My Opinion ...
Maybe some would disagree but I've always believed it's important to relay information such as scammers cracking open the slabs and putting in lesser grade cards. Not only is it all about helping our fellow card collectors, but it makes our collections more valuable because buyers aren't wasting their money buying from… -

<< <i> << <i>Do you realize that both you guys are embarrassing yourselves don't you? This is thread that didn't need to exist. Much like most threads on this forum lately. MJ >> I disagree. He suddenly found verdigris on the coin. More proof that I am a huge scammer. Gotta out the scammers to protect everyone else dont… -
Re: Beware. eBay scams are getting REAL good
Oops. that came out wrong. I didn't mean to imply that francois3650 was the scammer (although it's possible). I think the scammers have a program that just pulls all the info off an auction page to generate the phishing email to make them look that much more legitimate, which is why his ID ended up in the email rather than… -

Re: FOR SALE/TRADE 1956 Topps #135 Mickey Mantle PSA 9 NQ
Talk to me, I'm a scammer. What do you need to know about me? I'm not a scammer, I just posted a quick for sale ad looking for serious buyers. Whats VCP anyway? I've been doing this for 25 years, I'm not new, I've got a tremendous following online, so please, retract, and lets get serious here. What, in your opinion, do I… -
Re: Best way to pay for coin off of bst
There are a few things you can do to scope out the situation. If you're uncomfortable, listen to your spidey senses. Most scammers will throw off a few tells. Misspelled words, ever-changing stories, desperate situations, "creative" ways to ship or accept payment, weird stories about how they found a coin. See that stuff… -
Re: Anyone looking for a 51 Bowman Mantle PSA 8?
<<< Usamarinesrecruit >>> Another old scammer trick - although "she" said who she/he was, "her" email name associates "herself" with the Marines, and scammers love to "associate" themselves with or pose as, falsely of course, reputable type citizens such as Marines, other Armed Forces people, UPS drivers, firemen, police,… -
Re: Does any one Know " phovnyc (541) " on Ebay
How do you know they are "good"? These boards could easily be used by scammers who want to build up a reputation for fairness in preparation for their big "kill". The scammers on eBay have caused just about everyone to become wary. A history of good feedback over a period of several years is probably your best way to… -
Re: Help in regards to seller "Buy It Now" on ebay
Thanks guys! Really appreciated. My understanding of PayPal as a seller, is ship to an unconfirmed address, and all the buyer has to do is say "I didn't get it" and it's case closed, the buyer gets a refund. Signatures and delivery confirmation don't matter to PayPal because I guess in their view, technically it may not… -
Re: Ebay scam
Farthing..... << <i>It used to be fairly easy to get eBay members email addresses. Scammers wrote scripts to harvest email addresses from eBay. The list this scammer is using is an old one as I have received several copies of this message on an old email accout I have not used on eBay for over a year. I have received many…
