      If this coin is genuine, why wouldn't the seller send it to a TPG? Bust Dollars are some of the coins most commonly counterfeited by Chinese counterfeiters, and he's selling the coin raw through the same venue the scammers use to push their wares.

      Thanks for the info, I am going to increase shipping cost all customers as of right now due to this ridiculous requirement and send out SC/DC with all packages! You can thank e-bay and scammers for this

      hypothetically, a scammer's account is a very temporary holding place for funds received...said funds will shift to one or more accounts almost immediately after receipt. You'd need to follow the money a bit longer to have a chance.

      Let them bid. We all started from zero. While I understand there are some scammers out there, I feel that excluding the honest people is a terrible thing. Sorta like giving them a cold reception.

      Here's a thought. Try adding a new registry set containing the coins and see if the serial numbers show up in someone elses set and then try to find out which registrant has that coin. Then you know it's a scammer.

      It was coins and I got pretty good at it. I just think the scammers have got better at it. I used to be able to tell and could spot a fake but there are more of them now. It's been 15 years since I done this.
