<< <i>Oh, I get it. One will get a "rude awakening" when he/she buys all those undergraded slabs. Now I understand. Thank you for clearing that up for me >> wondercoin, wake up, the problem is when you SELLundergraded slabs. THINK for a moment, & it will make sense. Re: I GOT GRADES !!!
for future reference on 1922, there are 4 (not 3) die pairs. #1 strong obv strong rev, this is a "weak d", sometimes passed off as a "no d" if in low enough grade that the remnants of the d are worn off completely. diagonal die break through "o" of "one". this is the most deceptive "false 1922 plain", as the reverse is… -
Re: First Beach Hunt
salt water messes with a lot of machines, and it looks like yours is also a victim. I'm not sure of the science behind it, but waves can set it off, even touching your coil on the wet sand can cause false signals. I'd suggest playing with your discrimination a bit to see if that helps at all, of course you will lose depth… -
Re: Is it typical to get this rainbow toning on a proof Ike dollar?
Pharmer, You're more than welcome! Yes, it is just my opinion...but it is one that is formed from many long hours of research and lots of digging. Re: one coin doctor FINGERED
Mike makes some excellent points about the the appropriateness of civility and contemplation when replying to threads or forming opinions. However, in instances where accusations are made about someone's honesty, the legality of their actions, about their reputation, it is human nature to too often assume that accusation… -

The sound you hear is the air being let out of Goodell's head a couple of snipet's And despite the NFL stripping New England of a first-round pick, fining it $1 million and millions of… -
Re: Breens Encyclopedia Arrived~~short report
Realone May 21, 2010 I read that he had financial problems and needed to quickly finish the book by filling it with false info in order to stay afloat. That is what I meant when using the word fraud. In addition since a writer of such text needs to act in a fiduciary manner since collectors will be relying on his info I… -
Re: FAQ for you: Acronyms (e.g. TTT, BIN, DMPL)

This list stolen from here coingrading.com Adjustment Marks - Scratches which appear mostly on pre-1807 silver and gold coinage. These scratches were file marks, , made at the mint in order to reduce the weight of a coin so that its metal value wouldn't exceed its face value. As such, adjustment marks do not reduce the… -
Re: Coin collectors and Crypto

My chief argument for not using it is trust and what has occurred over the last year and the last week has shown crypto hasn't earn that trust. Another reason it has failed and will continue to do so is governments and those that control the current monetary policy. No entity that threatens that control will survive. A… -
Re: GSR = 99.96 this morning

I posted back in mid-October that while GSR was currently around 80, it was long overdue to head back to a normal trading range of around 45-65. 83 was the first key support level it broke through. And a return to 63 and multi year support seemed pretty reasonable. Well, here we are about 2 months later at the 63 support…
