To answer KoinDawg's question, the plaintiff does have to prove the allegedly defamatory statements were false, and may under these circumstances have to prove in addition that the person making them knew they were false. Occasionally grease can fill the mint mark in the die, fall out and then create a dropped mint mark. Doesn’t really look like it here though. Maybe a small strike through. Regardless, I don’t see any additional value. -
