Based on the nice reply I received from the seller, that's what he was doing. He understood and appreciated what i told him about some people thinking he might be a scammer, said he'd get in touch with the auction company and ended the listing. -

It really is pretty easy to determine that a 1995 Jefferson is not a doubled die variety even if you have no experience with them when you search the CONECA master list and there are none, not even a minor variety. The ultimate problem here is the hype by EBay scammers and social media AI apps that are confusing people… -

Too funny! This is a variation on an old scam. Back in 1999, I sold a dirtbike. First I tried regular Auto Trader. That was the worst. Ouch. I'm no genius but I've learned to look for red flags. No phone or way to contact him is one flag. A 20x is not the best way to get a feel for the coin initially.
