Re: Sniping Software
<< <i>How do you feel about giving your eBay username and password out to just anybody. >> Well, not just anybody. Most of the services mentioned in this thread are well-established commercial ventures with published privacy policies and proven track records. It wouldn't make good business sense to have your password… -
Re: Traders Retreat what a terrible web site And BAD Customer Service

Hi everyone. Well, I agree with Boggs. I am a close friend of his and he sent me the emails he got. It seems to me that the people on Traders Retreat were a bit rude. I know if I had signed up for a service and filled out the info asked and then several days later was asked for a lot more personal stuff, I wouldn't want to… -
Re: Thankful to be here
Thanks guys, I very much appreciate it. As far as the eBay scammers they all start off by sending an offer that is $50 or more dollars more than the starting price and once you accept their offer it then marks the item as sold. These people then send a message through eBay requesting an invoice for the entire cost of the… -

Re: Washington Dollars...Flip City
<< <i>"At least we know who screws people " i dont screw people out of anything . They pay what they are willing to pay for a product. Thats not my fault. >> That's right, and you didn't start the auction at $46--the bidders pumped that sucker up all on their own! But even if you did start these at double face, or even… -
Re: Suggestion re. PCGS online priceguide
I know everybody's got little issues with the accuracy of the guide, but I find it useful as a general reference, as do many other folks out there. I know it's not always up to date or accurate (I agree with Cameron that the "Daily" adjective should be removed if it is not going to be updated daily). I'm just fed up with… -
Re: eBay Informants/Agents in Our Midst...New Developments/Resolution
Derry B.......What is to prevent another scammer buyer from withholding feedback knowing that the coin he-she purchased could be called questionable if they alert e-bay............Buyers already hold the upper hand (and in most cases they should)..........But the buyer is always right is not the situation… -
Re: Has PSA ever done this to anyone else?
<< I think most people submitting cards to PSA are pretty honest and not looking to use your credit card. >> that is one of the stupidest things I have ever read. If that was the case, wouldnt this hobby be very safe and scandal/cheater/trimmer free? alifaxwa2- It's hard to believe that's one of the stupidest things you… -
Re: Nigerian scam/over-payment check scam.
This is an old one Al! The old bait and switch whereby I send you a check for $2,000 for a $1,000 item claiming I'd already purchased the check or I'm limited to a minimum $2,000 withdrawel by my prestigious firm or some other reasonably sounding excuse. I then ask you to take an additional $100 for your trouble in sending… -
Re: No Wax Packs Not Graded on E-Bay!!!!!
I think this is a very positive change. As Steve Hart said in his blog 75% of unopened on eBay is no good. I would much rather see the 25% of folks with legit packs get them graded then allow the scammers a chance to sell on eBay. eBay created a venue for a massive amount of fake unopened product to be distributed and I…
