Re: Am I the only here expecting a major correction in the price of silver to come soon?
I sold a little junk today at the Parsippany show for 24x. Sold a few junk Morgans and Peace for $27 each. Also sold a milk spotted ASE date set for $37.50 each. Nothing goes up forever...but if it keeps going up then I start selling my modern silver proof sets and modern commems and my low graded Morgans (MS62/63) -
Re: eBay buyer returns coin, appears swapped....what to do?
Unless you had the pic of the coin in your listing, you really have no proof that the pic you say represents the pristine coin is actually a pic of the coin that you sent. Seems like it is your word against his that the milk spotted POS that he returned isn't the one that you sent. File a complaint and refund the metal… -
Re: When NGC holders a proof set from a particular year, do all coins have to come from the same origina
The coins do not have to be from an intact set. You can submit individual coins in separate flips. You may want to do that anyway so you can stabilize the surfaces (by dipping in alcohol) to prevent milk spots on silver coins from the "flat pack" proof sets. Or you can submit previously graded coins to be re-holdered in… -
Re: OT - 1st Woman in Space Token
Don't know much about the medal, but it does bring back some happy, proud and sad memories for the old lady and myself. We had just moved into our first apartment, we were in our early 20's and I was watching the news July 3, 1982 and saw that Space Shuttle Columbia was gonna land at Edwards AFB in the morning, and… -
Louis Eliasberg's dirty little secret...
I'm sure to get flamed over this post, but what the hell. Many of Eliasberg's toned silver coins had a number of tiny bright spots in the toning. At these spots, the toning was a touch lighter and there appeared to be a mild disturbance in the luster. At the time, I imagined how Louis Eliasberg might have sat up late at… -

Re: 2015 Coin & Chronicles Set - John F. Kennedy (AX3)
I find it weird that there had to be a lot of work put into the packaging for the coins, the booklet and the overall look of the materials is fine....and zero attention to producing quality coins. These are not circ coins...they are special issue reverse proof coins and the quality of most should make those who worked on… -
Re: Finally got 100% DCAM in my Kennedy Collection
Great job, you found one of the scarcest coins for the set, and highly under rated, being that was a MS coin, getting them with DCAM PCGS is tough and will stay that way. So many of those years were melted back in the eighties. Many of the SMS DCAM coins not graded have milk spots, highly unlikely many more will be graded,… -
Tokens: Rare Conder's w/History Lesson (!), US Civil War Token

I have two choice Conder tokens and one U.S. Civil War token that I am reluctantly willing to part from my collection. I would be happy to accept a personal or cashier’s check or a USPS money order. I don’t have a PayPal account. All prices include shipping and insurance expense. I’m willing to accept a return within 7…
