Re: Some old members of the CU just fade away but I have something on my mind
I think some of our platinum coins depict the eagle nicely in flight. I don't like the big head of the statue of liberty, or the SBA and IKE because of the "big heads" but the reverses are intriguing , by design. The same plaque affects presidential dollar's reverse & obverse because of "BIG HEADS", too. As to slavery ,… -
Re: 1872 10 piece proof set (All coins now numeric graded slabs, grades on last page)

Well I got the coins, so lets talk. First I will tell you what I paid $5000 trade in low grade 90%, some pucks, some early gold and a few pieces of currency then $3000 cash and obviously my time and gas. The Dollar does has rub on the knee looks like cabinet friction but really not that bad full wire rim all around and… -

Re: Gone
With all due respect, why? At this stage, the risk seems to be all yours. Yes, I agree that your price seems to be very conservative, leaving little room for you to get hurt. The actual secondary market bid for a sealed box, once they sell out, is likely to be around 2x what you are offering, if not more. OTOH, there is no… -

If you came in contact with the Allknowing Numismatic Oracle, what would you ask it? My conversation

If there was an omnipotent numismatic oracle that could answer any question at all related to numismatics. What would you ask it? My conversation would go something like this: ^ will stand for the Oracle. Brian: How do you define AT? ^: AT is that which is not NT Brian: How do you define NT? ^: NT is that which is not AT.… -
Re: post office wont insure coin
"... and it becomes the responsibility of whomever subsidizes the USPS insurance." The PO is self-insured. If you notice, their vehicles don't have plates or registration. Oh...and they suck too. I won't get into details, but the scorned questions asked by clerks are generated by the fraudulent claims filed upon them. If…
