I don't buy from stock photos, nor do I buy sight unseen based on the grade on the slab label. Unless the coin turned or changed in the slab (MS70 with milk spots or PR70 cent with a fingerprint for example), I'd probably just keep it. -

When they use stock photos, they should not be permitted to state no returns. It is frustrating and hostile to those of us who look for very specific die pairs and states. And with moderns, selling off milk-spotted ones with stock photos of pristine 70 specimens is downright criminal. -

There are only about 7 people in the world collecting or dealing with them , so it's hard to gauge actual value of oddities when everything seems so out of round around us…. like silver rounds with milk spots. Makes me head spin. -

i think opened sets have been flipped a lot. $500 is a good price, if you have close ups of the RP front AND reverse, that would help IMHO and if it's all milk spot free note that as well. it will make you stand out. -

I still have BU 1955 cracked skull cents from when I was a kid! They look a lot better than the ASEs I just got rid of on eBay...Including ASEs from 2007 that already started developing milk spots. -

sad to say my 1964 sms dime lacks eye appeal is it's plaqued with either milk spotting or dip residue but the darn rarity far exceeds such eye appeal grief it's not everyday i can own a coin of an estimated 25 to 40 mintage -

you can't do it leftcoast - if you figure out how tell the rest of us. supposedly those irritating "milk spots" became part of the coin when struck and are a permanent part of the coin. probably half my BU SAEs have the affliction. -

I had a MS69 reverse proof ASE listed as having multiple milk spots obverse and reverse (with pictures) sell for more than a pristine MS69. Both auctions within a week of each other.. There is sometimes NO explanation for what goes on on the Bay..... -

be weary as not all PR69DCAM or MS69 examples are on the same par ~ many are heavily milk spotted or have turned in the holders, some have fingerprints... make sure you see great pics before purchasing or the seller has a 100% refund policy
