The mess on the half dollar Oakstar pointed out is milk spots. They were struck into the coin when it was minted. They cannot be removed. It also appears that some of the proof half dollars may be the more valuable Accented Hair variety. You can obtain information about 1964 proof coins by looking them up on Coinfacts. -

Yes - it’s not a milk spot but an odd blemish. It was taken in just the right light to obscure or not be noticed in ad. I know there was sone quality control issues with 2021as …Are blemishes like this something that can happen from Mint? I was thinking post mint damage. -

The 68 is a DCAM but has alot of milk spots so thst will knock it down a bit the others I would not bother with on the last 64 realy can't tell from the pic but I am betting on hairlines might go Cam MHO Paul -

And I can't even figure out how to get a milk spot off a proof coin. Amazing difference but, even to my inexperienced eye, they do look obviously cleaned. Better than before, that's for sure, but definitely not original looking. Russ, NCNE -

I don't buy from stock photos, nor do I buy sight unseen based on the grade on the slab label. Unless the coin turned or changed in the slab (MS70 with milk spots or PR70 cent with a fingerprint for example), I'd probably just keep it.
