sets can be all type 1 or type 2 or a mixture of both I think of type 1 being pointed top and type 2 being flat top (the type 2 frequently look like inverted mintmark) the first nickel is the only one I am pretty sure is type 2 for me it is easier to determine with loupe at an angle -

Yowza... I think I nailed this one... remember about 2 years ago when I mentioned on this board that graded Beckett's would be a thing. Well walla now look at this discussion and at ebay and see how both CGC and PSA graded becketts are doing... I loaded up on a complete run of beckett baseballs from issues #1 to like #100… -
